It can be hard at time to determine if one of your teeth is fractured. Here are a few signs to look for when determining whether or not you have a problem with one of your teeth:
- You have sharp pain when biting together, but it disappears very fast.
- Pain you have comes and goes, but does not stay all the time.
- You feel pain when you eat or drink.
- You may have no pain at all.
Fracture or cracks in your teeth sometimes are invisible to the eye and don’t always show on x-rays. Something that can identify if a tooth is cracked or not is if you take note when things cause you pain. This can be when things are hot or cold, or even when they are sweet, sour or sticky. Also, try and identify exactly what area or tooth is in pain.
