Gingivitis is the most common form of gum disease. It is the inflammation and infections of the soft tissue (gums) in our mouth. Gingivitis is reversible and curable. Having regular visits to the dentist (check-ups and cleanings) will reduce the risk of developing this disease. However, it is imperative to improve oral hygiene habits at home. Brushing the oral cavity two times a day and flossing “ at least “ once, will be an effective weapon to fight gingivitis.
