Remedies for Sensitive Teeth
If your teeth are sensitive to sugar or when you drink hot or cold and your dentist has seen no active decay, there are steps you can take to neutralize effects. First and foremost, you must practice good oral hygiene. Be sure to use a toothbrush for sensitive teeth, in order to keep clean without irritating your enamel. Brush and floss after any meals at work by keeping a brush and toothpaste in your bag or desk drawer.
Another tip is to alter your eating habits. Try substituting snacks for healthy and delicious fruits and veggies. Also, what you drink could make a big different. Stay away from sugar-filler sodas and drink water to flush away sugar hungry bacteria. Chewing sugar-less gun is another alternative that provides a treat without having the harmful effects of eating sugar. Nonetheless, if you think teeth sensitivity is a problem for you, consult your dentist.
Nobody says you can’t indulge in a sweet treat. However, always remember that everything is done in moderation.
